Starting to Book Shows for Summer
We are starting to sound like a band again. It looks Like the new lineup is getting solid, and we're starting to book shows for summer time. Everyone is getting excited about getting back out there, and also about getting back into the studio. By the way, the new lineup is

- Gary Jarrell (Keys, Bass, Backup Vocals)
- Joe "Beppo" King (Drums)
We're currently working on some original music for the next album, as well as some covers for the live shows. Get ready for some summer fun with SB!

Gettin' There!
We've been spending the spring getting the band rolling with a new drummer. Satchel Brown would like to welcome Beppo to the band's new lineup. Beppo will be behind the drum set, and he's a rockin' drummer folks! We've been working on the song lineup for the second album as well as polishing up the live act. We're excited about recording the new music and getting out to do some live events. More as it happens!

Times they are a changin'
Hey everyone. Many of you already know that Satchel Brown has recently lost Dave Davis and Chris Overcash. Both of those guys moved off to Las Vegas, Nevada which is where they now call home. Dave and Chris were both instrumental in the formation of Satchel Brown, and we wish them the best on their new careers out west.
We are currently looking for a replacement drummer, and we'll be spending the next couple of months doing some rebuilding. We expect to be back in a few months with live shows and to get working on our next studio album. Stay Tuned!
Mountain Music And Jam
August 4th !
Mountain Music and Jam Festival Website
Satchel Brown will be at the Mountain Music and Jam Festival on Saturday, August 4th. We are opening for the Clarks, and we go on at 5:30pm.
WV Day!!
We did the annual West Virginia Day Festival on June 16th. This year was our 4th year at the gathering, and was probably one of the best ones yet. We had everything from dirt bikes to break-dancin' 8 year olds. Thanks to everyone who made it out to celebrate. We hope to see you next year!
NOTE!!
The SB show at Chic N' Bones for Friday, May 11th has been cancelled. Chic N' Bones informed us yesterday that they will be closing that side of the place until fall 2008. Sorry for the late notice!

Saturday night rocked in Morgantown. We did a show for the AGR fraternity and those folks really know how to throw a party. We played from 8pm - 12pm, and I think everyone had a great time.
